But as interest in NFTs has seemingly boomed andbustedin the recent years , so too has whatever unity the creation of NFTs had . Forgery andcounterfeit piecesare fly the coop amuck , and artists and purchaser are becoming fair game . emptor have hadNFTs stolenduring phishing attacks , and artists have had their own study stolen and mint as an NFT without their permission . Bummer . For a engineering that is so obsessed with being bulletproof and valuable , it sure seems loose to bet on the scheme .
