The “Girl on Fire” singer, 42, delivered a surprise performance in a London train station on Monday morning,per Reuters.

The 15-time Grammy winner — who was in town over the weekend to headline Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena in London — performed her 2009 smash “Empire State of Mind” to a cheering crowd, adjusting the lyrics from “now you’re in New York,” to “now you’re in London.” She then played classics like “If I Ain’t Got You” and “No One," as well as her latest single, “Lifeline.”

The R&B musician recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her sophomore albumThe Diary of Alicia Keyswith a 24-track re-release via Legacy Recordings featuring the vault track “Golden Child."

She also commemorated the occasion with a special performance in New York City at Webster Hall on Dec. 1.

Hell’s Kitchen, Keys' semi-autobiographical musical will move from Off Broadway to Broadway’s Shubert Theater on March 28, 2024, with opening night slated for April 20, 2024, perDeadline.

“Good things take time and for 13 years, I’ve been dreaming, developing and finding inspiration for a musical based on my experience growing up in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC,” Keys said in a statement. “I’m honored to be a part of this Broadway season with so much incredible talent and great stories. I grew up with musical theater and have so many memories of standing on line at TKTS to see shows likeMiss SaigonandRent. For me,Hell’s Kitchenis also a New York story of finding your dreams and for me, this musical coming to Broadway is the embodiment of that idea.”
