There are only three episodes ofDoctor WhofeaturingDavid Tennant‘s interlingual rendition of the time - traveling weirdo yet to appear … but raw written report suggest that those wo n’t be the only dosage of Tennant ’s Doctor we ’ll get .

Tennant already filmed a scene , from his terminal sequence , where he says goodbye to 1970s jaunt comrade Sarah Jane Smith and her adopted son Luke . But now Tennant is back in Penarth , where Sarah Jane ’s mansion is , and so is his meter machine , the TARDIS . This could just be another pick - up view from his Dr. Who episode , except that Tennant is wear a different outfit . Also , hearsay has it he was at the script read - through for the third time of year of Sarah Jane ’s whirl - off show , theSarah Jane Adventures .

Here ’s hop he will change state up in at least one episode of Sarah Jane ’s show — it ’s his last chance , after all . I have no clue when her next season will send , or whether it ’ll be before his own final episodes . It would be terribly , terribly naughty of Tennant ’s Doctor to say his last goodbyes to Sarah Jane , rectify into Matt Smith and then have an earlier variation of himself down up to have one last adventure with her .
