The comedian lay claim in court that there was a grow trouble with writers recording rival comics ’ cloth so that they could pirate their jokes and sell them to television shows . He claim that footage of his spear stop up on websites such as YouTube .

“ TV broadcast have writers write for the performer and they go around to lance and take the material and betray it to the BBC and ITV and that material is gone , ” said Hurst , who defended himself .
“ You are then accused of steal your own textile . It has materialise to me with material shown on national TV that I had already done .
