Sony announced it last night duringtheir press league , but now I got to put my grubby , dirty hands all over it . There is more filth , a batch more .

First and first , the WA1 is controlled with LG Chocolate - style touch - tender buttons . The inauspicious part about the buttons , is that they are shining black , meaning every unmarried blasted fingerprint becomes very visible and very surly , fast . At some point during my demo I even had to look at the buttons from a different angle to see the social occasion of each button . They were n’t as responsive as I would have liked , either .
Other than the less visually pleasing functionality , the WA1 worked fairly well . It includes a remote and radio dongle so it can directly get in touch to a computer via 802.11b ( kind of faint ) or through an memory access point such as a router . Sound was okay , but then again I was take heed in a very noisy Sony CES booth , it would unquestionably be better in an enclosed , quieter home base - esque environs .
Internet radio is limited to Live365 , which is a semi - pay service . Some distribution channel are free but if you really want some good radio you will be forced to drop at least $ 7 per month .

pelt to the microcomputer wreak with the Sony Connect software , which is meh , but I did n’t have a bun in the oven anything else .
It does include a miserable 128 M of internal storage mainly to be used for alarm functionality .
On the buns there is a hold , audio out , ocular out , appurtenant input and a grip because the WA1 is rechargeable . The atomic number 3 - ion shelling carries a four - hour battery life .

The WA1 will be available come natural spring - meter for $ 350 .
