Rogue One star Felicity Jones hosted Saturday Night Live ’s first installment of 2017 , and her monologue was basically one long Star Wars reference . But it ’s all near , cause I ’ll take Hologram Tina Fey any day .
The sequence was n’t SNL ’s strongest , and Felicity Jones see a little flighty handling the comedic material . But still , it was fun hearing Fey share the closed book that taking Kenan Thompson ( dressed as Saw Gerrera ) off the show would make SNL explode .
