While I love Stand Alone Complex for get back to Ghost in the Shell ’s Law & Order : 2035 - flair cybercrime roots ( as opposed to Masamune Shirow ’s Ingmar Bergman - esque GitS motion picture ) , I ca n’t help but wish someone would make a specter in the Shell that ’s as comic as Masamune Shirow ’s original manga . I doubt this new serial will be the one either , but a man can dream .
