Harold and Kumar are back together again!

On Wednesday,Kal Penn, 46, andJohn Cho, 51 — who costarred together in theHarold & Kumarcomedy movie trilogy — reunited at aSAG-AFTRA strike siteoutside the Paramount Pictures studio lot in Los Angeles.

“We have the munchies for a fair deal,” Penn wrote in a post he shared on hisInstagrampage, referencing the pair’s cult classic stoner comedy films.

The actor and former Obama administration White House staff member also shared a video of himself and Cho speaking to the crowd of striking actors gathered outside Paramount’s studio lot, during which he opined that SAG has gained an upper hand two months after the guild initially called a strike.

“Yeah, boy!” Cho added, causing Penn, Cho and the crowd to break out in laughter. “I’ve missed L.A. very much,” Penn said.

Penn and Cho joined SAG-AFTRA presidentFran Drescher, who was recentlyre-electedto her post as the union’s head, at Wednesday’s rally outside the Paramount lot, according toThe Hollywood Reporter. The pair toldTHRthat they did not intend to speak to those gathered at the picket lines until they were asked to join the crowd.

“We were just in the back, here to support and they asked, ‘Do you want to come up?'” Penn told the outlet.

“It was like a scene from one of our struck works," Cho added.

Back in 2021, Cho suggested that in aGQvideo interview that while there is interest in making anotherHarold & Kumarmovie, there was some doubt amongst its creative team about how to pull off the kind of comedy seen throughout series’ first three films.

“This is a really stupid answer, but we used to have a lot of political jokes, and race jokes, and I don;’t know what the movie can do now," he said at the time. “I don’t know how to navigate that. We’re giving it some thought, but it is a much more complicated endeavor than it was five years ago.”
