Move over Spider - Man — this motion picture is guaranteed to make fandom explode . Behold The Knights of Badassdom asterisk Summer Glau , Peter Dinklage , Ryan Kwanten , and Danny Pudi . This is start to be amazing .
While there still is n’t a prevue for this jewel of a film ( directed by Joe Lynch ) , it was announced today that Kwanten , The Dink , Glau and Pudi would all be on hand at San Diego Comic Con ( Saturday July 23rd ) to give up their trailer to the flock . Here ’s the official synopsis :
In this humourous fantasy risky venture from IndieVest Pictures , Joe ( Ryan Kwanten ) is a heavy metallic element rocking chair who ’s just gone through a painful breakup with his girl , Beth ( Margarita Levieva ) . His interested roommate ( Steve Zahn , Peter Dinklage ) kidnap him to their LARP ( Live Action Role Playing ) gathering , where he infix a region of fantasy escapism in which pretend knights , elf , and barbarians clash with foam weaponry on a mock battlefield . When Joe ’s “ thaumaturge ” roommate ( Zahn ) inadvertently cite a baneful succubus that takes Beth ’s seductive form , blinking reality break up down upon their phantasy world . Once LARPers start to wrench up dead , the make - believe hotshot and warrior must become the real life heroes they have been pretending to be in Holy Order to stamp down the evil that has been let loose .
