Hilaria captioned the post with a sentimental message, “Happy 1st birthday Ilaria Catalina Irena. So much energy, fun and wildness in one tiny body! We love you so very much and feel lucky to have your unique soul bless our lives 🩵.”
The mother continued, “I usually try to keep my videos under a min…I just am so emotional about her being 1 that it’s longer…I couldn’t choose which photos to cut out 🫠🫶🏼.”
The couple toldPEOPLE in an exclusive statementthat they had welcomed Ilaria Catalina Irena on Sept. 22, 2022. “How grateful we feel to welcome our newest little daughter into this world,” said the pair. “Just as magical and filled with love as every other little person we have been blessed with.”
Soon after the arrival of Ilaria Catalina Irena, Hilaria shared a photo of the family of nine on Instagram, with the caption, “Our first photo with the smallest Baldwins! What a Baldwinito dream team.”
She added how the family was missing the eldest Baldwin,Ireland, 27, who Alec shares with Kim Basinger. “Ireland, you are missed and loved ✨.”
The birth of the one-year-old followed the couple’s initial announcement to PEOPLE in March 2022, when the coupleconfirmed they were expecting. “We have ‘somos un buen equipo’ engraved on our wedding bands. We say that to each other all the time at home — that we’re a good team.” The statement continued, “One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.”
The news of Hilaria’s pregnancy news came after she suffered amiscarriage and a pregnancy lossin 2019.
