Jennifer’s BodywriterDiablo Codyhas a dark new teen comedy coming soon.
Described as a “coming-of-ragelove story,“Lisa Frankensteinis about a “misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse,” per a synopsis.
“After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness … and a few missing body parts along the way.”
The cast also includes Liza Soberano, Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest andCarla Gugino.

Last year, Williams expressed her excitement for the project, tweeting at the time, “I know Hollywood gets a bad rep for regurgitating sequels and remakes and reboots over and over and over… and yeah, it totally does that!”
“But,” she continued, “it’s also finally letting me make the most bonkers, wonderful zombie script I’ve ever read, and for that, I will be forever grateful!”
