The pilot, who was the only person on board, reported a “flight control malfunction” shortly before the aircraft went down in a wooded area, the NTSB said. Just before losing all communication, the pilot asked the air traffic controller to tell his parents that he loved them, according toPBS affiliate WUFT, which obtained a recording of radio traffic from the incident....

A spokesperson with the Las Vegas Metro Police Department told PEOPLE that “a search warrant was served in Henderson,” Nev., a city just southeast of Las Vegas, on Monday. The search was “part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” the spokesperson said, though the department provided no further comment on what investigators were looking for at the home....
