Evil is afoot in the trailer forThe First Omen.
On Wednesday, 20th Century Studios debuted thefirst trailerfor the prequel to the classic horror franchise, which began with 1976’sThe Omenstarring Gregory Peck.
According to a synopsis, this story is about a young American woman who is “sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church.” However, “she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate.”

Aside from three sequels after the originalOmenfilm, a remake was released in 2006 starring Julia Stiles, Liev Schreiber and Mia Farrow.
